Each year, the Lawyers’ Committee sponsors students and law graduates applying for school-based and national fellowships. While we do not have the funds to support our own fellowship, we work closely with potential fellows to develop proposals that are submitted to outside funding organizations. Our deadline for fellowship sponsorship applications for Fall 2017 has passed. Information about sponsorship opportunities for fellowships beginning in the Fall of 2018 will be posted in the Spring or early Summer of 2017.
The Lawyers’ Committee offers a general litigation internship and an economic justice internship during the summer and during the academic year. In addition, internships are possible with any of our projects, such as Education or our Economic Justice Project. We also accept applications from students interested in working for the winter intersession. Students work part-time or full-time, often for credit. For summer 2016, we are accepting applications only from law students and law school graduates. If you are interested in applying for an internship, please submit a resume, cover letter, and writing sample to Staff Attorney Sophia Hall at firstname.lastname@example.org.
